Pickup and Delivery Options

 

As a reminder, Raleigh Cakes is not a retail/store front bakery
All online store orders require 3 day lead time, everything is scratch made to order, just for you


We are a licensed and insured commercial cake studio and all of our cakes are made to order, from scratch, just for you. We do not maintain inventory of ready made cakes or desserts for same day delivery or pickup.

Raleigh Cakes offers free pickup in North Raleigh through our trusted business partner Monday through Saturday 11:30am to 9pm with no appointment necessary, along with delivery within and out of Raleigh. (With exception for holiday closures)

We do not offer Sunday pickup or delivery except for weddings or catered events. Please plan ahead for pickup on Saturday.

Our cakes stay fresh and delicious in the fridge for 2-3 days, so pickup/delivery can be the day before an event without worry.

Pickup Policy

Please arrive only during open hours posted above.
Our partner cannot accommodate early or late arrivals.
Respectfully  do not knock or request access outside of these hours.


Our pickup partner operates independently from Raleigh Cakes and we respect their time, staffing, and business operations.

Expecting service outside of business hours disrupts our shared operations and may result in refusal of future service.

Delivery Options

We offer delivery based based on time/distance from our commercial bakery location in Wake Forest, Monday through Saturday from 10am to 6pm, for all custom and signature cake orders. This delivery map and pricing does not apply for Weddings and Catered Events.

Online Store Order Fulfillment  
All Online Store orders have a minimum 3 business days fulfillment time with 12pm cutoff. If you order before 12pm Friday your earliest delivery date will be Wednesday.

Delivery is offered as both Standard and Express depending on the time window for delivery allowed. 

Standard Delivery:

– Delivery within the following windows (10am to 12pm, 12pm to 3pm, and 3pm to 6pm). 

Express Delivery:

– Delivery within a 1 hour window (Delivery hours are 10am to 6pm Monday through Saturday)

Delivery fee’s are variable according to the zones shown:

Green Zone:
Standard $15.00
Express $20.00

Neon Green Zone: 
Standard: $20.00
Express $30.00

Orange Zone: 
Standard $35
Express $45

Red Zone:
Custom quotes based on time/day/distance. Please inquire on your order or email info@raleighcakes.com

Delivery Policy: 

Online Store Order Fulfillment  
All Online Store orders have a minimum 3 full business days fulfillment time with 12pm cutoff. If you order before 12pm Friday your earliest delivery date will be Tuesday.

FAILED DELIVERIES/RE-DELIVERY: Please note that a re-delivery fee will apply for failed delivery attempts. The re-delivery fee will be charged at the same rate as your original delivery fee plus $15.00. Same-day re-deliveries are not guaranteed to be an option. You may also pick up at our North Raleigh pickup location for no additional fee after 6:30pm on the same day of your delivery, excluding Sundays. Please contact us immediately to reschedule your delivery. 

CHANGE IN DELIVERY: Once an order is placed, we are generally unable to adjust local delivery times for the same delivery date, especially if the date is within 5 days. Please contact us for immediate assistance: info@raleighcakes.com.  

RECIPIENT MUST BE PRESENT: You or someone who can sign for the order must be present to receive your order for delivery. Delivery drivers will make their presence known upon arrival either by ringing bell/doorbell, knocking on door or pressing a call box. Delivery drivers will wait up to 10 minutes at your delivery address before an order is deemed undeliverable. If you live in an apartment building with lobby access and no doorman/security/front desk person, please note that we cannot leave your delivery unattended in the lobby. 

UNATTENDED DELIVERY: If you are unable to meet your delivery driver at your delivery address and express to your delivery driver in advance that you would like your delivery left unattended, Raleigh Cakes is not responsible for any damage, theft or loss to your delivery. This excludes multi-tenant buildings/lobbies/etc.

DELIVERY TO RESTAURANTS, SCHOOLS, HOSPITALS, & OTHER BUSINESS: Please note that a recipient must be available to accept the delivery upon driver’s arrival. Please let your delivery driver know in advance for special delivery instructions. If you would like your order left unattended at a business, Raleigh Cakes is not responsible for any damage, theft or loss to your delivery.
